Private Guide:
your tailored canyoning tour
A guide just for your group, the canyon you want, the pace you choose. The bespoke option for families, groups of friends and experienced canyoneers who want to step off the beaten track.
A guide just for you
The private guide is our most flexible and personalised canyoning option. Instead of joining a group tour with other participants, you get a state-certified guide working exclusively with your group.
This option suits two profiles in particular: families or groups of friends who want a private experience in accessible canyons (especially Angon), and experienced canyoneers who want to discover off-catalog canyons like Pont du Diable, Eau Rousse, or Grenant — beautiful canyons that aren't part of our standard group tours.
The pace adapts to your group, the canyon is chosen with you according to your level and preferences, and the format can be a half-day or a full day. Our team (Étienne and Céline in particular) knows every canyon in Haute-Savoie and the Bauges range like the back of their hand.
Why choose private ?
Four reasons our customers choose this option over standard group tours.
Adapted pace
No waiting between passages. The guide only manages your group, so everything goes faster (or slower if you want to take your time).
Canyon of your choice
You choose the canyon with the guide based on your preferences, level and weather. Not just Angon or Montmin: every one of our canyons is accessible.
Privacy
A family, a group of friends, a birthday: just you in the canyon with your guide. Perfect for special moments without strangers.
Flexible schedule
Morning, afternoon or full day: we adjust to your schedule and constraints. Far more flexible than a fixed group tour.
Two profiles, one option
The private guide is particularly well-suited to these two types of requests.
Families & groups of friends
You want a private canyoning experience at Angon, without sharing with other groups? The private guide is for you.
- Birthdays, stag/hen parties, reunions
- Families with teenagers (12+)
- Accessible level: Angon canyon
- Half-day from €350 for up to 6 people
Experienced canyoneers
You've done canyoning before and want to discover off-catalog canyons (Pont du Diable, Eau Rousse, Grenant)? The private guide is the only way to access them.
- Pont du Diable (Bauges range)
- Eau Rousse Canyon (Tarentaise valley)
- Grenant Canyon (near Morzine)
- Quote depending on canyon and duration
Canyons accessible privately
We guide on every canyon in the region: around Lake Annecy, in the Bauges range, and as far as the Tarentaise valley.
Angon Canyon
The most iconic canyon of the lake. Slides, jumps, and the 60m waterfall. Available privately to tailor the route to your group.
Montmin Canyon
The playful canyon at the foot of La Tournette. Multiple jumps, natural slides, and whitewater swimming. Ideal privately for active groups.
Pont du Diable Canyon
Deep in the Bauges range, narrow vertical walls and an immersive aquatic atmosphere. A spectacular canyon only accessible through private guiding.
Eau Rousse Canyon
Near Moutiers, beyond La Léchère. Impressive gorges, crystal-clear water, breathtaking waterfalls. A full day of adventure deep in the Tarentaise valley.
Grenant Canyon
Near Morzine, in Haute-Savoie. Walls over 50 metres, varied descents, jumps and abseils. A committing canyon that requires a guide who masters it.
Other canyons in the region
