Frequently asked questions before writing to us
The questions we get asked most often about getting in touch.
How long until you reply?
On weekdays (Monday-Friday), we usually reply within 24 working hours â often the same day for simple questions. On weekends, replies are more random: if you write Friday evening or Saturday, expect Monday.
For urgent requests (next-day trip, last-minute change), prefer the phone which is more efficient.
When are you available by phone?
Our switchboard is reachable Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm CET. In peak season (June-August), we are sometimes also reachable on Saturday morning. Outside these hours, leave us a voicemail â we always call back.
During tours, our guides cannot answer (they are in the canyons). Prefer early morning or end of day.
To book, do I need to contact you?
Not for standard tours. Online booking via Takamaka is faster: instant confirmation, secure payment, real-time slot selection. Go directly to the tours page.
Direct contact is needed only for: Winter Canyoning, canyoning courses, private trips on challenging canyons (Pont du Diable, Groin), groups of 8+, corporate retreats, bachelor/hen parties with multiple activities.
What info to give for a group quote?
For us to give you an accurate quote in the first reply, please provide:
- Number of people (and their profile: families, sporty, mixed)
- Desired date(s) or date range
- Type of trip considered (Discovery, Montmin, etc.) or specific needs
- Type of event (bachelor/hen party, corporate retreat, birthday, holidays with friends)
- Logistics: need accommodation, meals, transport, other activities to coordinate?
The more specific you are, the more specific we are in our reply.
Do your guides speak English?
Yes, all our guides speak fluent English. Depending on the season, we also have German, Italian and Spanish speakers. You can write or call in your language.
For French-speaking visitors, our contact page in French is also available.
Can I drop by directly at the Angon chalet?
Yes, but only on opening days (in season, generally April to October, activity days). In low season, better to call ahead as no-one is necessarily on-site.
For administrative questions, group quotes or formal meetings, prefer our Annecy office at 23 Faubourg Sainte Claire â by appointment only.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept:
- Credit/debit card (online via Takamaka or on-site)
- Cash (on-site only, in EUR)
- Bank transfer (groups, corporate events)
- Apple Pay / Google Pay (online)
For international visitors: card is the most convenient. We don't accept GBP, USD or other currencies in cash â please pay in EUR.
